View token usage

Overview

Use this task to view token usage on the dashboard. See how many tokens guardrails is consuming so you can budget, control costs, and plan capacity with confidence.

For any period you select, you can view the total tokens consumed by Guardrails, with the following details:

• By project: see which projects are driving token use.
• By guardrail: see token consumption per guardrail across all projects.

Together, these details help you manage spend and stay ahead of demand. Track usage against budget, pinpoint the projects and guardrails driving cost, and spot when you may need to add GPU capacity.

Before you begin

Before you begin, make sure you have:

• Admin privileges: You need permissions to view the AI Security dashboard.
• Access to the AI Security UI: If you use SaaS, the URL is typically https://us1.calypsoai.app.

Access the dashboard

1. Log in to the AI Security UI.
2. Select the Dashboard.
3. Find these graphics:
   • Token usage by guardrail.
   • Top 5 projects by token use.
4. For each guardrail, you can view token usage for the available time periods.
